Joie de Vivre's the Saguaro Palm Springs is named after the Sonoran Desert cactus, infused with every color of desert wildflower known to the Mojave, the 249-room property resides cozily among palm trees in the Coachella Valley. Architects Peter Stamberg and Peter Aferiat from NYC-based Stamberg Aferiat Architecture are responsible for this remarkable oasis of color. James Beard and Iron Chef Jose Garces is credited for the hotel’s two new restaurants Tinto and El Jefe.

2012 Ford Focus
So, one half of the CB has returned back to the cold North here in Denmark, as Kriss gets to stay in sunny L.A.!
While over there we had the pleasure of testing the great 2012 Ford Focus (Titanium), which turned out to be a very joyful ride! Also, which is very important in L.A. the Focus has extremely great mileage. So you pay less for more miles of fun! ; )
Car And Driver just picked the car as one of their Top 10 Best Cars of 2012!

Odd Future on Fairfax
So, the other day we were chillin' on Fairfax and mentioning that the Odd Future crew always used to hang out infront of the Supreme store... Well apparently they still do - even after a massive year of success in 2011! So in front of Supreme we met Tyler and crew hanging out and kicking it like any other day! ; )

Ace Hotel & Swim Club
As before mentioned we spendt some wonderful days out in Palm Springs before the new year and as promised here's our little lowdown on the in our oppinion amazing Ace Hotel & Swim Club - a motel that died and went to hotel heaven. The two-storey 1960s whitewashed architecture remains. Draped fabrics on the walls give a luxe campsite feel, vintage furniture makes each room unique. The fabulous ‘Swim Club’ of the hotel’s name consists of two pools, a hot tub, a spa with a steam room and sauna, and assorted massage yurts – plenty to keep you happy for at least a few days!
Palm Springs is only a short 100 miles (2 hour drive) from downtown Los Angeles... with guaranteed 20+ degrees all year round it's definitely a must go when visiting the city of angels.

L.A.: Views From The Hills
Hi all! Hope everybody entered the new year in the best way possible!
Over here on the West Coast we're still enjoying every moment, before being forced back to the cold Scandinavian winter (well Kriss and the fam. gets to stay - bastards!)! ; )

Enjoyin' La-La Land
We're still in L.A. enjoying the Holidays. Kriss has got the week off from work, so we've made some alternative plans and currently we are chillin' in Palm Springs at the great ACE hotel (more on that later).

Arrived in L.A.
So, yesterday I arrived in L.A. with my love and the Créol Brothers have officially been reunited. ; )

LALALAND #2
So last week flew by without any updates from the west coast. I started work at DnG (some pics from the agency coming later) and at the same time been extremely busy with all the anoying things you need to sort out when relocating to the states (social security, bank, credit card etc etc), but had a blast test driving cars (you gotta have one in LA, but haven't decided which to get yet) and also had the time to hang out with friends.
